 Background of ACE Entertainment!

ACE Entertainment Inc. is an organization that provides different programs for youth to participate in during the fall/winter and spring/summer seasons.  Our objective is to make sure that young teens in our community make the right choices when it comes to life decisions. We at ACE Entertainment Inc. want to make sure that all youth have a successful outlook when it comes to education, sports, college or whatever their aspirations may be.
Through ACE Entertainment Inc. we have already started the process of taking teens off the street and using their talents in several different ways. On August 4, 2009 we started two dance groups with young teens who have interest in hip hop dance. In the spring we will begin signing each dance group up for different events such as African American Festival, Lark Festival, Latin Festival and Tulip Festival. We will also be looking to send each of these dance groups to various dance competitions throughout the country.
ACE Entertainment Inc. has also started a program called A NEW WORLD. This program is designed to giving back to those who may not have the everyday materials such as, book bags for school, food, coats, hats and gloves. Furthermore through this program we are looking to begin a Non – Violence movement through our community’s schools to promote the word of non-violence. We will show them how to be proactive instead of reactive and how they too can give back.
At this time we are asking for donations to help us help our community. If you choose to make a donation to ACE Entertainment Inc. you have the choice of donating $10, $25 or $50.  Please know that every dollar that you give will be given back to our community. Once you make a donation you name or company will be posted on our website as a person or company who cares. Once you are ready to give you donation to ACE Entertainment Inc. please call 518-364-6809.  If you are unsure of whom we are and what we do please feel free to check us out at www.aceent.webs.com
We've decided to join forces with our friends ACE Entertainment. Exciting things to come in the future stay tuned!!

Sick of your iPhone's puny lens? Then it's time for a (somewhat unwieldy) upgrade.
This "iPhone DSLR prototype" is a 1.1lb, solid piece of anodized billet aluminum (that looks to be a modified Owle). It will fit an iPhone 3G, 3GS or 4 along with a complementing, full-size Canon EF lens. And since Canon converter mounts are widely available for most lens brands, I'm guessing this rig could fit pretty much any lens you tossed at it with some tweaking.
Is this a real DSLR? Of course not. As many angry camera snobs have pointed out, there's no internal mirror system to control light hitting the iPhone's camera sensor. But could it milk the 5MP iPhone sensor for everything it's worth given access to some premium glass? Theoretically, yes.

This could turn out great, if engineered correctly! View More at iPhone DSLR

This saying was heavily stressed by my Design & Art teachers. It is a perfect representation of how a designer should think! Taking from others [while giving credit where credit is do] leads to finding the direction an Artist/Designer takes their work!!

With the deck shoe obsession still in play, adidas welcomes an addition to its roster with the brand’s own rendition of the classic Summer staple. This version from the three stripes boasts a more contemporary look with a black canvas base, tonal black leather piping, and crisp white outsoles. Retailing for only $60 USD, these can now be found through select retail accounts, including David Z.
I love the simplicity of this shoe it reminds me of a Sperry's Top Sider X Van Slip On Hybrid! Adidas ranks at the top of my favorite shoe brands [Shell Toes Being The Favorite, Although the comfort level could be better]! These shoe can be paired with just about any outfit, a definite pick up for Fall Semester!

I've always been the person that doodles on their notes when boredem strikes in class lol! But it seems that some of my best ideas have come out of my History classes, one minute Im taking notes the next an idea for a design slips into my mind and I automatically write it down in the margins of my notebook haha.. I will most definitely use a few of these ideas in the future! I think they could turn out really great if executed properly!

Patchwork Propaganda is not just a blog its our Brand!
The blog was made to assist / document the progress of starting a Media | Design Company!
The Brand will consist of all things that influence me & simply what we want to bring to the design world.
This has been a long time coming with several failed attempts! [name changes, crew changes, direction etc.]
This has only made us more passionate and ambitious.
I look forward to and appreciate all the current and future support!
Thank You!

People may claim that the original images don’t look that great but I was shooting with the intent of using Photoshop afterwards. If the backdrop paper didn’t fill the frame I knew I could easily fix it afterwards. With today’s market being what it is I see Photoshop as a necessary tool for every image I make. I am in the business of making money and my clients do not care if I got it perfect in the camera or made it perfect in post, they simply want a perfect image. It’s the same process with music. A band could record and entire album in 1 take, but what successful artist does that? Today, everyone records track by track one at a time and use software to combine them all together into a perfect mix.

Here is one of the images after editing.

I bought this book back in February while I was in Louisiana for Mardi Gras! Also celebrating the Saints Super Bowl Win "Who Dat?" My mom, grandmother, aunt, and cousin took a drive down to Mississippi to visit a store named Hudson's.... But enough of the back story lol!

I haven't quite been able to sit down and read it, but I definitely plan to change that soon. The Book was written by Noah Kerner and Gene Pressman.

One of my pet peeves are people wearing "The Rosary" as a fashion statement. I feel that in recent times it has become the latest trend among our society. Growing up Catholic I was taught the significance of the beads and what they stood for. When I wear them, it is to show my faith and not to keep up with the latest trends. If a person chooses to wear it who am I to tell them not too? But they should at least educate themselves first.

I was doing a google search and came upon this post, I definitely agree with everything she is saying!

When did the rosary become a fashion statement for young black males? Well shoot just for anyone. So I was looking at my older brother Tennie's facebook status and it made me want to write this blog.  Currently he has seen dudes walking about campus at N.C. A&T with the rosary around their necks. So what people deciding to be Catholic all of a sudden. No I don't think so. They are just wearing them as an accessory to their already "fashionable" outfits. The dudes who walk around with with skinny jeans, little plaid shirts, hats, and non prescription bifocals. WTH... I just dont get it. They talk about how they be having sex with them on and smoking weed with them on. Like it's a good thing to do. I feel this is SO disrespectful to Catholics, especially with me being one. I was raised knowing what each bead meant and to cherish the rosary, to use it when praying and nothing else.  It has been brought back into the fashion world, which is not of my likings. It was brought into fashion by Madonna in the early 1980s and people today are starting to wear and sell them again in todays era for a fashion statement. UHHH NOOO STOP DOING THIS!. When I was searching for pictures to show you guys I found pictures of D&G's rosary necklace. OMG... and it was probably selling for around $500 dollars.  I wanna know how all you guys feel about this because as you can see I am a little upset about the things young black males are doing when they don't know what the beads even mean. SMH.
Starting with Madonna in the '80s and continuing to present time. I usually keep my beads hanging from my rear view mirror and at one point my step-brother asked my mom if he could have them! She replied no of course since they were mine. It made me realize that there is lack of individuality and understanding. "Don't follow the pack, make your own path

I just picked up a pair of Ray Ban Wayfarers. My first time splurging on Designer Sunglasses. These frames come in Matte Black with Green Glass lens. I love old hollywood wayfarer glasses, to properly wear these they should accentuate your face perfectly. I've always bought the generic version [some are too big or too small]. So the next time I got a pair they would be the real deal. I couldn't be more happy with my choice! The frames retailed at $119.00 at Sunglass Hut!

I picked up the iPhone 4 today and so far I really like it! The front camera and flash are definite pluses & the new design in general. So far the only dislikes is the fact that I am not able to sync it to my laptop [being that it is not running OS x 10.5] . I'll just have to sync it to my iMac when I get home!
