My ultimate goal is to be Successful [basically work for my self]. My main goal is to open up a store on the beach, not necessarily selling beach gear haha. But more like an internet cafe/boutique/design | Photography studio. I have so many ideas that run through my mind, it becomes difficult at times because I can never pin point just one direction to go in I want to do them all at once lol! My focus at the moment besides school is to just lock in on one idea and create from there.

Spend less time partying and more time creating. Partying seems cool and all, but time slips by before you know it. Managing your time and money is essential. I’ve heard people complain about their living situation, vehicle, the fact that they haven’t traveled to many places, that their business isn’t taking off, etc.. Some of those same people are drinking nearly half of their paychecks away every single weekend, having nothing to show for. If you plan on changing your living situation, getting a new vehicle, starting your own business, buying that neat camera, traveling to some new places, and turning over a new leaf in life – maybe it’s time to prioritize?

I was fortunate enough to realize at such a young age that partying wasn’t for me. By opting out, not only did I save heaps of money, but I saved a tremendous amount of time. Time is something you can’t buy back, and life is too short to take that for granted. I don’t look down on anyone who parties, it’s just not for me. I’d much rather be creating than drinking away time, money, and lost memories. To each their own though. However, if it wasn’t for prioritizing and living a drug/alcohol-free lifestyle, my brand would not be where it is today.

UNDFTD steps into new waters by creating a series of denim jeans to compliment their clothing and shoe lines. Deciding to mold their jeans around the archival 5-pocket straight leg jean, UNDFTD adds their signature by creating a branding patch that highlights fonts used by the brand. Raw indigo selvedge denim is used for rigidness and appeal to the traditional denim market. Available now at select Undefeataed stores. Via Hypebeast

The always classic pair of jeans! I like the simplicity of the 5 pocket design! In the future I hope to release a line of denim.

“If you enter this world knowing you are loved and you leave this world knowing the same, then everything that happens in between can be dealt with.” -Michael Jackson

Today we celebrate the life amd legacy of the great Michael Jackson! While the month of August is bittersweet [the death of aaliyah & birth of Michael] we must look at it as a time of joy instead of grief! Michael will forever live on in myself and others. I hope one day I will be able to make as great an impact on the world as he did!

I'll say it again thank you for shaping my child. Forever in our hearts!

What does being a boss mean? Well in my opinion it's one that knows how to handle his business. Business first play later is the cliche motto but very effective. A boss takes the control when tired of waiting on another man's approval. A boss makes him/herself necessary as a service with authority, not worrying about any other
competition unless its an alliance for more money. Know your place, know your lane and become powerful within it. A boss doesn't waste time because a boss should take care of his business and be able to make time. A boss has a loyal team.... a loyal team. It is said, in every group there's a Judas... but a boss deads that. A boss leaves a legacy, and may even become a legend. What does being a boss mean to you? Hmm.... - Ricci

What makes you a boss?

A brand is the identity of a specific product, service, or business[1][page needed]. A brand can take many forms, including a name, sign, symbol, color combination or slogan. The word brand began simply as a way to tell one person's cattle from another by means of a hot iron stamp. A legally protected brand name is called a trademark. The word brand has continued to evolve to encompass identity - it affects the personality of a product, company or service.

Can't believe its been 9 years since Aaliyah passed. I definitely remember it like it was yesterday, woke up Sunday morning to my mom telling me what had happened. It was one of those moments where your like Huh! Up until then I had never really experience one of my favorite musician/actor pass away. We must take that moment and appreciate people while their still around, don't wait until its too late!

Thank you for making timeless music that shaped my childhood, may your memory forever live on!!
RIP Baby Girl!

Slight Curve - Designed to celebrate straight figures
  • Slight Curve is designed to define a woman's waist, while accentuating her curves. If jeans usually fit in the hips and thighs but are too tight in the waist, a woman should try the Slight Curve.
Demi Curve - Designed to fit even proportions
  • Demi Curve is designed to flatter a woman's waist, while smoothing her shape. If jeans usually it in the waist, but don't flatter the figure, a woman should try a Demi Curve.
Bold Curve - Designed to honor genuine curves
  • Bold Curve is designed to hug the waist, without gapping or pulling. If jeans usually fit in the hips and thighs, but gap in the back, a woman to try the Bold Curve.
I think its a really smart move for Levi's to focus on a women's figure instead of its size. Make sure you stop by a Levi's shop and get yourself fitted in a pair. Peace.

Alternative has been challenging the concepts of fashion since 1995, when Founder and Chief Creative Officer Greg Alterman set out to create the perfect t-shirt—one designed for fashion, made for comfort, and tailored for a flawless fit. Today, Alternative has elevated the tee from casual basic to fashion-forward staple, simultaneously broadening its horizons to offer a complete collection of ready-to-wear clothing and accessories, including an eco-friendly line of sustainable apparel, Alternative Earth.
As a lifestyle apparel brand at the forefront of the fashion industry, Alternative exists to inspire authenticity and comfort—both inside and out. Our mission is about more than just designing clothes that look and feel great: we want our unique community of wearers and supporters to feel comfortable in their own skin, laying the groundwork to inspire others and make a difference with how you live—and what you wear.
Alternative creates apparel and accessories for men, women, babies and toddlers across the United States and abroad, including Canada, Italy, Germany, Australia, Japan, and the United Kingdom. The company is headquartered in Atlanta with showrooms in Los Angeles and New York.
Literally an Alternative for American Apparel. While American Apparel deals with their money issues, the next couple of months will prove to be either a make or break situation. Questions will be asked [Will American Apparel Close Some of their stores?] How will the debt effect their wholesale business etc.

I learned of Alternative [then Alternative Apparel] through an upstart clothing line, who was fed up with American Apparels customer service. Alternative yet similar in name but different in quality shows that their products were made for the long hall! Stronger fabrics = bigger cut in the fit of their products, not really a deal breaker on my end..

The future will definitely hold a collaboration [unofficial] with Patchwork Propaganda!!

It has a 23.7 mm by 15.6 mm DX format image sensor with 6.1 million effective pixels. It also has a 2.0" (50 mm) polysiliconTFT LCD with 130,000 pixels. The camera uses a through-the-lens full-aperture exposure metering system. It can simultaneously record NEF and JPEG data to a Secure Digital storage device. Like its newer, higher-end sibling (the D80), the D50 uses Secure Digital instead of CompactFlash cards found on previous Nikon digital SLRs. The camera is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery which is claimed to be able to take up to 2,000 shots on a single charge. The camera is compatible with PictBridge printers and can shoot 2.5 frames per second in continuous mode. The camera's dimensions are 133 mm in width, 102 mm in height, and 76 mm in depth.[1]
The D50 is the only entry-level Nikon DSLR to have the autofocus motor ('screw drive') built into the camera body where the camera is backwards-compatible with mechanical autofocus lenses (Nikkor AF series) dating back to 1989. This feature has been eliminated on later entry-level models and is currently only available on mid-range and advanced models. This makes the D50 the lightest Nikon DSLR to have the autofocus motor.
Although it has been discontinued, It is an amazing Camera! I haven't been putting it to use as I should.. But that is  definitely going to change!

Today, officially launches my HWPO campaign for Patchwork. Why? Because I finally quit the job I've been at for 3 1/2 years, I used to really enjoy what I did, but the past few months have seen changes that Im not willing to be apart of, that means the only logical explanation was to move full force with this Company as well as our partners [Murdock N Partners]. With the help of Toya I plan to make this less of a blog and more a way of life! I Hope you will all follow along for the JOURNEY!!

 Cold War- Janelle Monae
I love this song and video.
The lyrics are real and the video shows her emotions towards the song.
Not only does she look amazing.
I love Janelle Monae for her creativity and style along with her beautiful voice.
She has a unique ness appeal to her that intrigues me.

Here are some of the lyrics.
"Bring wings to the weak and bring grace to the strong
May all evil stumble as it flies in the world
All the tribes comes and the mighty will crumble
We must brave this night and have faith in love

I'm trying to find my peace
I was made to believe there's something wrong with me
And it hurts my heart
Lord have mercy, ain't it plain to see?

This is a cold war
You better know what you're fighting for
This is a cold war
Do you know what you're fighting for?"

Alexa Chung is another young lady that I admire. British model and former TV presenter who hosted MTV's "It's on with Alexa Chung" I love her style as well and Mulberry Bags = ).

A good documentary that takes you on the inside of VOGUE with the editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and creative director Grace Coddington as they produce their most highly anticipated September Issue. I admire Anna Wintour's personality in some ways, how she brings a strong appearance that can often make people around her nervous. She knows what she wants and carries a "boss" status that I like. She is very influential in the fashion industry and has taken VOGUE to great heights. Through out the film she is commended on how she stays ahead. Grace, who I also admire knows what she wants and is great at visualizing a picture. She has a softer appearance to her but knows what it takes to stay in the game with her firm attitude. If you haven't seen this documentary definitely check it out.

I've posted several things about the guys over at HWPO. What started as a 365 day campaign for Hard Work Paying Off, turned into a Media Marketing Company and more.

Here's an update on what they've been up to!
This past  Monday we spent the day filling out paperwork for what we believe will become a major move for the companies.  We can’t tell you much because we’d rather make moves and show you what we have done, rather than say what we are going to do cause talk is cheap.  If we are blessed with this, mark my words… August 2nd will be a monumental and pivotal date that will change our lives.
Glad to see them continue making moves, the always inspiring group!
Let this be motivation to each and everyone striving for success!! HWPO!!

I used to love The Hills!! Until it got supid lol! Aside from that The City it's spin off it slightly different from the "Scripted Reality". While I've only seen a few episodes I was able to catch a marathon on VH1 and it definitely made me want to watch more. I think the most important thing about this show is the emphasis on Fashion! If anyone wanted to pursue a career in the fashion industry [whether it be design, PR, styling] then this is a must watch for all you aspiring fashionistas!!

But while that was great, I didn't completely sell all the shirts and it was just me running everything. I later changed the name to Patchwork Propaganda! Which brings us to this blog lol! I've decided to reopen it with they help of some friends [under the Murdock N Partners umbrella as our Media Apparel Company]. This means I will continue to blog and promote Patchwork Propaganda as a separate entity. Watching it eventually grow to become the brand I know it can be.
