Lets start from the beginning, about two weeks ago a friend of mine called me [damn near out of breath] saying she had just seen a tweet that Marc Jacobs was doing a book signing in Savannah, GA. We immediately started making plans, fortunately enough my mom lives in Savannah and im always goin home for the weekends. Fast Forward a week later This time I happen to see the tweet saying the signing would be on Oct. 14 which worked out great [it was the beginning of our fall break from school], the only dilemma was a dentist appointment the same day At 1:00 which ended up getting rescheduled.
We waited in line about an hour to get into the store, then about another hour to actually meet Marc. It was worth the wait, usually when you meet someone you have all these perceptions about them [how they look, their attitude etc] Marc definitely exceeded mine. He looked exactly like he does in pictures, very handsome and nice all at the same time. Meeting him inspired me greatly, so now more than ever I have the drive to succeeded and eventually move to New York!!
